C&A creates clothes 'designed to be recycled'

More than 1 million tonnes of clothing are consumed in the UK every year. And now apparel brand and retailer C&A is hoping to drive the idea of circular fashion ‘to a new level’ with its ‘Wear the Change’ campaign.

C&A wants 100% of the cotton it sources and at least two-thirds of the overall raw materials it uses to be ‘more sustainable’ by 2020.

Its new ‘Wear the Change’ fashion label, which will hit the stores this month, is being hailed as an important step towards this goal. Around half of C&A’s items in stores are part of the ‘Wear the Change’ label.
